Guillermo Moreno, former Secretary of Commerce during the presidencies of Néstor and Cristina Kirchner, criticized the role of the governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, in the internal affairs of the Justicialist Party (PJ), labeling him as 'the big loser' from a political standpoint. In a radio interview, Moreno pointed out that Kicillof lacks dominance or his own structure within the provincial and national party.
Moreno emphasized the importance of the Peronist movement organizing itself and mentioned the diversity of Peronist spaces, citing Miguel Ángel Pichetto, president of 'Encuentro Republicano Federal', the Evita Movement, and Graciela Camaño with 'Tercera Posición'. According to Moreno, it is crucial for the Peronist space to define the representatives of each branch and for Cristina Kirchner, if she wishes to participate, to choose from which branch to do so.
Regarding the youth activists, Moreno stated that young people seek something authentic and see Peronist doctrine as a solid option against proposals they consider 'nonsense'. He highlighted that the depth of the Peronist proposal attracts young people when they feel disillusioned with other political alternatives, such as that represented by Javier Milei.
Ultimately, Moreno underscored the importance of the Peronist movement organizing itself and providing a space where young people can find roots and something genuine in political terms. He concluded that, despite internal differences, it is essential for the Peronist movement to remain united and clearly defined in its structure.
